The JFK Democratic Club is passionately dedicated to preserving our democracy, which is under grave threat as never before in our history. We invite you to get involved by joining us in participating in activities, events, and volunteer opportunities. The following list will be updated periodically.

Participate in No Kings III protest on March 28 (time & location to be determined). As President Trump escalates his attempts to control us, the people must show that we will fight to protect one another and our country. We are coming together again on March 28 because we know we can overcome this repression when we unite. Click here for further details.
Report misconduct to the New Jersey Attorney General by federal agents conducting immigration enforcement. As you may know, the state of NJ has implemented a portal to report incidents involving harmful conduct by, or negative interactions with, federal personnel conducting immigration enforcement in New Jersey. Tell AI companies: No dirty gas for data centers. As tech giants race to build massive data centers, they are increasingly turning to new natural gas plants to power them. Tell the Department of Justice to remove Trump’s banner from its headquarters. Attorney General Pam Bondi has the authority to remove partisan displays from DOJ property and reaffirm that the department answers to the Constitution. Click here to sign Civic Shout's petition.
Urge Congress to stop funding ICE’s violence. Our communities deserve safety, dignity, and justice. It’s time for Congress to put an end to this terror. Demand inhumane detention centers be shut down. There have been shocking reports of swarms of mosquitoes, maggot-infested food, lack of showers, and extreme temperatures. Tell Congress to end the cash-for-deportation scheme. The Trump Administration has promised up to $2 billion to police departments that agree to carry out federal immigration enforcement and has deputized more than 13,000 local officers. A recent important petition was created to stop President Trump’s misuse of the National Guard. Civic Shout aims to drive social and political change toward a more equitable and fact-driven society.
​https://indivisible.org/ is an organization and a movement of thousands of leaders and millions of members who are resisting the Trump agenda. They make calls and speak with their neighbors. They organize. After practice, training, and repetition, they’ve built lasting power on their home turf and a massive, collective political muscle ready to be exercised every day in every corner of the country.

The organization is a federal political action committee (PAC) that primarily helps members elect candidates who reflect the values of members through a variety of activities aimed at influencing the outcome of elections.

https://www.peoplepowered.org/ is a global hub for participatory democracy -- the direct participation of community members in making the policy decisions that affect their lives. People Powered builds the power and impact of organizations and leaders around the world who are building a more participatory democracy, through programs such as participatory policy-making and citizen assemblies.
https://turnoutpac.org/ is a political organization focused on increasing voter turnout for Democratic and progressive candidates.
